IGT Rosso Ommio - Molino di Sant'Antimo
The cultivation of the French or international varietal Merlot gives the wine the most expected merlot vine characteristics, although the local terroir and exposition at the Molino di Sant’Antimo Estate play an important role in forging this wine with great body and finesse. Early picking is favored to maintain the wine’s acidity as well as its potential for aging, with a rich, full-body and tender tannins. A fresh bouquet gives way to flavors that hint cooked plums, berries and berries, with an aftertaste of violets and herbs. An impressive wine.
