Altitude: 250-350 m a.s.l.
Vineyards: 11ha divided in two parts, both cultivated using the bilateral cordon cultivation system
Soil: mixed clay, very rich in skeleton
Harvest: manual harvest in perforated crates, mid to end of September, with sorting table selection
Fermentation: with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, long maceration on the skins with frequent pump-overs.
Ageing: 10 months in new oak barrels

ning: 6 months of bottle refinement before market release
Alcohol: 13.5%
Color: impenetrable ruby red color
Nose: intense and enveloping aroma of fresh fruits and notes of ripe fruits merged with the sweet scent of the wood in which it refined

  • A wine that blends the winery’s traditional Sangiovese with varying percentages of their soft and powerful Merlot. This rather intense and tannic wine is extremely smooth and pleasant on its own, as well as able to accompany any dish or conversation. A palate pleaser.
